Veri.bet SPI™ (Sports Pick Index)

About

The Veri.bet SPI™ (Sports Pick Index) is an alternative investment vehicle using sports betting.

You can put your money into many different kinds of investments: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, etc. As most savvy investors know, each of these markets involve some sort of risk. The extent to which you can manage this risk determines how much money you make (or lose).

While the sports betting market is sometimes frowned upon by "serious" investors, Veri.bet has developed an alternative investment model to manage these risks in a way that makes it an even SAFER (and much more lucrative) proposition than any of the markets mentioned above.

The Veri.bet SPI™ is not a "one-month wonder" -- it takes a little while to make a very solid return (just like a safe investment), but the index yields continue moving upward steadily and consistently.

The Veri.bet SPI™ is made up to 3 separate indexes:

  • VBE (Eastern Time Zone based teams)

  • VBC (Central / Mountain Time Zone based teams)

  • VBW (Pacific Time Zone based teams)

Each index runs independent in terms of selections, risk, and yield.

There are two parts to the Veri.bet SPI™: the process of selecting a game, and determining how to financially manage that selection.

The Veri.bet SPI™ uses advanced algorithms combining all of the data the Veri.bet platform provides to identify low-risk opportunities on a daily basis.

Then, based on the current index yield and recent performance, the Veri.bet SPI™ determines the financial risk amount for that particular selection.

The "human emotion" factor is taken out of the equation completely. The algorithms do all of the analysis and mathematically produce the best selections daily. The Veri.bet SPI™ doesn't rely on "insider tips" or other irrelevant information -- it's proven proprietary software that actually works to generate a consistent yield.

The Veri.bet SPI™ only makes picks on the 4 major professional sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL) as well as college football and basketball (NCAAF and NCAAB). The Veri.bet SPI™ doesn't generate picks every day, the algorithms only identify low-risk opportunities generating about 4-6 picks per index each week.

Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, is a big believer in the safety and profitability of using sports betting as an alternative investment method; read what he had to say about creating a hedge fund using sports betting.

Methodology

The Veri.bet SPI™ requires discipline and patience. It's very different than gambling on sports; gamblers often are looking for a quick return on their money, and are willing to risk the majority of their stake for a quicker or higher payoff.

When you follow the Veri.bet SPI™, you'll notice that we're rarely suggesting a wager of more than a very small percentage of your overall bankroll. Essentially, you're engaging in a diversification strategy -- no single wager should greatly affect your balance, either positively or negatively. This is a way of managing your risk, and is similar to investing in the stock market (but much safer!).

Since no single wager is too monumental in the long run, it is very important to emotionally detach yourself from a game or pick. This is what sets the Veri.bet SPI™ apart from gambling, and it requires discipline. As a result, following the Veri.bet SPI™ isn't for everyone.

Here's how you'll follow the Veri.bet SPI™ daily:

  • Every day by 5:00pm ET, log into your account and check if there is a pick available for any of the 3 indexes that day.

  • Once you get the pick(s), you should make the specified wager with your sportsbook ASAP to ensure you get the most accurate odds, exactly as prescribed. If the Veri.bet SPI™ tells you to RISK $100, that's what you're risking (you're not trying to WIN $100), not a penny more or a penny less.

That's it! The process will repeat itself every day; the Veri.bet SPI™ will generally make between 4-6 picks per index each week.

Other things to keep in mind:

  • Remember, there is no such thing as a "lock" or "guaranteed" pick. The Veri.bet SPI™ uses advanced algorithms combining all of the data the Veri.bet platform provides to identify low-risk opportunities on a daily basis, and -- over time -- you will come out ahead. But there *will* be many games that aren't correct, and it's important to keep in mind that this is a marathon, not a sprint.

  • Don't change anything! The Veri.bet SPI™ doesn't rely on human emotions -- just because things are going well (or poorly) does not mean you should raise or lower your bet as suggested. Your long-term success can only be assured when you follow a consistent system over a long period of time.

  • Control is what separates the gambler from the investor. If you can remove your emotions from the Veri.bet SPI™ process -- just as if you were investing money in real estate or the stock market -- you'll do exceptionally well. But if you get emotionally involved (even when things are going good), and you start to change things, then you're following a gambling pattern, not an investing pattern. Remember that there's a reason that sportsbooks and casinos are ridiculously profitable: it's because they cater to gamblers, not successful investors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does the Veri.bet SPI™ generate picks?

A: The Veri.bet SPI™ generates picks using advanced algorithms combining all of the data the Veri.bet platform provides to identify low-risk opportunities on a daily basis. This data includes betting trends, betting simulator, betting consensus, and or winning / hot individual handicappers. The algorithms generate the best possible picks and financial risk amounts for each index daily using the best combination of this data. This ensures steady and consistent index yields month after month.

Q: How much does it cost to access the Veri.bet SPI™ picks?

A: The Veri.bet SPI™ is included with any Premium Account upgrade package and gives you unlimited access to all 3 indexes picks.

See the Premium Account Upgrade page for more details or to upgrade your account today.

Q: What are the VBE, VBC, and VBW indexes?

A: The Veri.bet SPI™ has 3 indexes. The VBE (Veri.bet East Index) consists of picks for teams based ONLY in the east coast or eastern time zone. The VBC (Veri.bet Central Index) consists of picks for teams based ONLY in the central states or central and mountain time zones. The VBW (Veri.bet West Index) consists of picks for teams based ONLY in the west coast or pacific time zone.

Q: Do I need to follow all 3 indexes?

A: Yes, we recommend you follow all 3 indexes at all times. This is to ensure maximum performance and positive yields over time. In the case of any single index struggling, the other 2 indexes should make up for it over time.

Q: How often does the Veri.bet SPI™ make a pick?

A: The Veri.bet SPI™ never generates more than one pick per index per day. Typically, there are between 4-6 picks per index each week.

Q: When are the picks available each day?

A: Usually by 5:00pm ET, if a pick is available for the index that day, it will be posted on that indexes profile. Also if you look on the home page, we have a pick status indicator to let you know when picks are posted daily, if any. You can also sign up for SMS text or email alerts to get notified the instant a pick is posted.

Q: Would the same pick ever be posted for multiple indexes?

A: This may happen occasionally, where we use the same pick for multiple indexes on the same day. If one index is hot and another is struggling, we might "borrow" the pick from the hot index and post it on the struggling index as well to help that index recover.

Q: I wasn't able to follow a pick today! What do I do?

A: It's OK, just follow the next pick, but try to stay disciplined and follow the Veri.bet SPI™ consistently.

Q: How much money do I need to commit? (What should my bankroll be?)

A: There's no cut-and-dried answer to this question. While you should absolutely have the entire amount you're committing to the Veri.bet SPI™ available (this amount is your bankroll), realistically, you shouldn't need to "tap into" the entire amount.

Note that Veri.bet SPI™ suggests a wager for you based on the amount of your bankroll. We recommend a bankroll of at least $1,000 to start, but it's entirely up to you. You can change your bankroll amount in your account settings at any time.

Q: What are my tax implications?

A: It is your responsibility to report any earnings you make through the use of the Veri.bet SPI™ to your local or national government tax agencies. Please be responsible and pay your taxes!

Q: I'm trying to make my wager, but the line that I see isn't the same as the pick?

A: Veri.bet SPI™ picks are made by 5:00pm ET. Between the time the pick is made and the time you're able to place your wager, it's very possible that the odds or the lines may have moved (say, from "-110" to "-125", or from "OVER a total of 216.5 points" to "OVER 223.5"). Our guidelines in these cases are as follows: regardless of how far the odds or lines move (in your favor, or against), you'll still take the selection. With the advanced betting options sportsbooks offer nowadays, you should always be able to get the line we suggest, even if it has moved. Remember it is more important to get the exact line we suggest, no matter how much you need to pay for the odds.

Depending on the sportsbook you use, the faster you get your wager in after we issue the pick, the less likely the odds or lines will move up or down or be much different.

The key is that you risk the exact amount you're told (if you're told to RISK $100, that's the total amount that you should have at RISK -- you're not trying to WIN $100).

You can sign up for SMS text or email alerts to get notified the instant a pick is posted to help with these types of issues.

Q: Is it acceptable to bet a higher or lower wager than you suggest?

A: Yes, although it's not recommended. Doing so will change the entire system, but we can't stop you from betting higher or lower but it is not recommended.

Q: Can I increase the total bankroll for my account once I have started?

A: Of course, it's up to you. Once you get comfortable with how everything works, you'll probably want to increase your bankroll which will result in higher wager amounts. You can change your bankroll amount in your account settings.
