PICK:HOUSTON TEXANS -3.5 (-110)

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been tragic, my goodness. They’ve lost 9 of their last 11 games, and… well, I think that’s a pretty jarring statistic; let that sink in. On the other side, the Texans are 7-5, and covered -3.5 when they met the Jaguars back in September. Despite Houston dropping 3 of its last 4 games, these teams are trending in completely opposite directions, and for this reason, I’ll take a healthy Houston squad to win by 4.

PICK:OVER 41.5 (-111)

The Chiefs have cashed the Over in 5 of their last 6 outings, which includes their last encounter with the Las Vegas Raiders. I think the entire league now knows that the Chiefs have developed a pesky habit of winning but not covering (lol), and after watching the Carolina Panthers score a whopping 27 points against them, 41.5 seems like too low a total. I’ll take the Over to hit this afternoon, friends.
